TechGeeks2u.com, like
a lot startups, evolved out of a hobby and a true passion for technology. I
originally worked as the senior technical analyst and network administrator at a
medium-sized corporation that filed for bankruptcy in 2000. After several
attempts at reorganization the company was dissolved. My service to the company
ended June of 2003. After losing what most would consider to be a great position in a saturated field. It took me a little time to understand
that this wasn’t a bad thing. During my corporate career, there was a
never-ending line of employees, friends, and friends of friends asking for help
with their home computers. A lot of time was spent helping people after hours.
This was common among my friends in the field. Realizing that there is a
real need for in-home and small office computing help, we decided to give it a
shot.
This, after all, is the
American way.
